I've just finished reading Stieg Larsson's Millenium trilogy: The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played With Fire, and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest. I'm not generally a fan of crime fiction, but my sister recommended them and lent me her copies.
I have to say that I really enjoyed them. The middle book was a little slow-paced for my liking, but the plot was great, with lots of interesting twists and turns. The characters, while not always likeable, were often fascinating, as was the look at modern Swedish society. Overall, these were a good read, and I recommend them.
