New appliances

My new furnace and central AC unit were installed today. The programmable thermostat is cool but still not as sexy as new kitchen countertops and carpet. <sigh>

That being said, with various rebates and a federal tax credit that I'll get next year, along with a deal because it was done by my cousin-in-law's friend's company, I've managed to reduce the cost by over 50%. And in my universe, saving that much money is very cool. Possibly even sexy. :)
