Dennis L. McKiernan's Iron Tower

I picked this up earlier this week at the local used bookstore. I'm glad I didn't pay full price for it. 

It's not that I object to fantasy books modeled after Tolkien - far from it. I do object, however, to blatant imitation, and badly written dialogue.

It was amusing to try to anticipate the minor deviations.....
