PSA on An Afternoon at the Watery Oak Inn
Dec. 10th, 2009 05:19 pmWere you worried about the effects of consuming too much sugar at An Afternoon at the Watery Oak Inn? Afraid that your soaring energy levels would have no output?
Fear not! We have the solution. DANCING!
I am pleased to announce that An Afternoon at the Watery Oak Inn will now include live music and dancing!
Dance music (and perhaps a short concert) will be performed by Diabolis in Musica. For more information on the group, please see http://www.diabolisinmusica.com/index.html.
In addition, Baron Salaamallah and Lady Evaine have kindly agreed to provide dance instruction for those of us who have never danced or who (like me!) haven't danced in a long time. The dance list is still being decided, but will probably include Horses Bransle, Pease Bransle, Sellenger's Round, Gathering Peascods, a pavan (to be decided), Picking Up Sticks, and perhaps a few more.
So, come join the Canton of Fennbrycg on February 20, 2010 for an afternoon of music, dancing, games, conversation, and sugar! For more information, including how to reserve a spot at the Inn, please see http://www.eastkingdom.org/event-detail.html?eid=1881.
